Etsy Love - Lara Lewis Jewelry

Lara Lewis
Estate and Old Hollywood Style Jewelry

So I'm noticing  a pattern...that many Fridays have become the day to share my favorite Etsy sellers. Perhaps Friday should be "Etsy Friday" ?? I am pretty in love with Etsy if you couldn't tell! Anyway, last week some of my wedding jewelry was ordered from this shop. I received the jewelry and is is gorgeous and unique! I ordered a bracelet and a pair of earrings and she threw in an extra pair of earrings to match my bracelet (and also had it all wrapped up pretty)! I am sucker for those thoughtful gestures from Etsy sellers. Hint hint to any sellers out there! ;) I am so pleased with this shop I had to share it with others. Check out this shop, you won't regret it!

A Rustic Wedding in Southern California

One of my FAV blogs {Grey Likes Weddings} features this wedding a few days ago. I LOVE her wedding dress. It is simply gorgeous! Also, I must say I am quite fond of this set because a certain couple I know is ALSO getting married at a winery. ;) Check out this beautiful post here.

Severe Nesting Syndrome...and NOTHING I can do about it.

What does a girl do when she has SNS- SEVERE NESTING SYNDROME? Perhaps it is an illness you get when you are about to get married and you feel like making a house into a home. How does a girl do such a thing when her lease is up in less than 4 months and I must be focusing on a wedding. Plus, how much can you or should you do when you are only renting? Perhaps I should temporarily shun my decor blogs that I adore ever so much and just follow the wedding ones. "Patience little one," my fiancee would say. He is right! I must enjoy the season I am in, you only get to be engaged once! THEN I will have time to nest.

PS-LOVE THESE PICS! It was featured on here on Once Wed a couple of days ago! Jessica Johnston Photography.

Things I love Thursday

I'm going to start a new 'weekly special' blog post: Things I love Thursday! It's going to have ANYTHING I am currently loving. Yay! This is going to be fun. I hope you enjoy it as well!

Today, I am loving....

Men wearing suits instead of tuxes for a wedding. It looks so handsome and stylish. You can find many colors and styles, plus your man can wear it again... perfect for the businessman of course!

Also, if you can't afford to buy everyone a suit, then think of other options. Can your groomsmen pay for them? Perhaps the groomsmen could rent tuxes(and your future hubby could just buy a suit), or I know some places you can rent each piece seperately.  Rent them pants, a vest and a tie. Another tip: shop sales. Jcrew and Express are my fave! Have fun with it and get creative. Being unique is way more fun and there is NO reason to break the bank. Have a Happy New Year! Until next time... <3
